Background:
David and I worked together for 11 1/2 years and we've been friends for 13
years. David has always been the big brother I never had! David has always
been there, he helped plan my wedding and we've been through thick and thin.
When David & Kim's daughter Carolynne was born I was there and I told
David then that I wanted to show them all Disney World. We started planning
the trip from that point on :-). That was almost 4 years ago! David has never
been to Disney and Kim was very young when she went and the only park that
existed was the Magic Kingdom. So we had to show them all of it! :-)
The Disney Vacation Club has afforded us the awesome opportunity to share
Disney with our friends! So 7 months ago I booked us a 2 bedroom at Disney's
Old Key West Resort!
And the planning ensued :-)

Travel Day:
We booked a 8:10 pm flight out of Baltimore with a 10:23 arrival in Orlando.
This was to be the first flights for both Carolynne and Garrett! They both got
their wings! My Mom and Scott's Dad got us all to the airport and we checked
in very quickly. I had printed our boarding passes online but we had to check
our luggage. After we checked in and went through security we made
ourselves comfy at the gate. We went to find some grub before it was time to
board. We boarded and took off on time. The kids did great! Garrett
LOVED the flight and Carolynne did too until it was time to land :-(. Poor
thing, the landing hurt her ears!

Alamo to pick up our rental car that I
had Priceline-d! Packing the Mini-Van
with all our luggage and us was quite a
sight! We looked like the Beverly
Hillbillies when we were done!

Then it was off to Disney!!! When we arrived on property Garrett was
out like a light! :-) We got checked in and got all the luggage in the
rooms. David and I quickly made a grocery list with Scott & Kim's help
and we were off to Super Walmart in Kissimmee. Shopping trip
accomplished we headed back to the resort and while the rest of the bunch
slept we quickly unloaded and got everything put away. That accomplished
David headed off to bed and I quickly unpacked. I set a wake up call for 7 am
as we were headed to Animal Kingdom tomorrow!
